The Star Inn is run by Julian & Maggie Matuszkiewicz and their team.

The Star Inn is a 16th Century, family run pub with two delightful gardens, open fireplaces, a large plasma screen for special sporting events and a large car park.

Voted West Sussex 'Country Pub of the Year' in 1990 and 1995, and voted as one of the top 50 pubs in England by the Independent in 2006, the Star Inn is part of Steyning's history, and is is renowned for its cask ales and home-cooked dishes.

Open Mike Night  Starts again on the first Sunday of the month from 6th July

Quiz nights starts from Wednesday 2nd July and then every Wednesday from 8.30pm (£1 entry,  numerous prizes)

Award Winning Head chef Robert Hayden with his kitchen team offer a delicious range of home cooked various dishes, together with tempting starters and yummy puddings! We have a main menu, a daily specials board and the very popular global grazing menu introduced by Robert himself To accompany your meal, we also have a excellent selection of wines. The Star Inn is an ideal stop for walkers and cyclists who enjoy the many routes around this picturesque  Sussex village.

The pub boasts  two charming beer gardens, one bordering a stream.
